This solid wood cutting board is made from African Mahogany, Black Walnut, and Hard Maple. The wood is edge jointed to a higher level of perfection than is achievable with a machine using my 120 year old Stanley hand plane before being planned flat with the same tool. The wood is finished with a food safe, all-natural blend of oils and waxes that penetrates deeply into the wood fibers.
